watching Italy craved what to me is a undeserved 1-0 win over the Aussies to go into the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

i have been such a lousy fan.. the past 2 nights i have been dozing off on the 3am match and from what i heard, i missed good matches... exciting and non-stop action matches.. At least Switzerland Vs Ukraine aint bad.. so far.. 28th min..

have you ever thought Our God could use people around us to speak to us? even people who worship God differently?

it is really awesome to see how God work in lives of others... how the same God who impacted your life has also carried out changes in the lives of the people around you... sometimes we get so carried away that our life becomes God and Me alone..

Do you know the God of the Bible well enough? God loves us so much and He knows that we do sometimes lose the desire to read His word to know... thus He graciously place people in our lives... people who have similar desire to love and worship the same God that you serve.. Let these people show you this great God, Creator of heaven and earth, the Saviour of your soul =)

i gotta admit.. i haven be very nice to my regular readers.. hmm.. but i wasnt known to be a regular blogger too! hahahaha... i shall blog NOW..

Serious.. watching the World Cup is a very taxing thing to do.. i'm serious mann.. gotta stay up till like 5am.. and it even tougher when the matches gets really really boring..

media kinda hypes up every single match in the tournament that it just psycho u to wanna watch all of them.. and what more.. they (the media) always seem to give u a reason, maybe even more than one, to watch EVERY match.. LOL!

but as a self-professed football fan, the World Cup is like a must watch.. C'mon!! it happens once every 4!! 4!! years.. same situation as being born on 29th Feb.. i really feel for who ever is born on that day..

as i was saying..... having a team to support increases the thrill of watching the World Cup but it is fine if you are just following the matches..

but one thing i really dont understand is.. how can one person or fan, in this case, be supporting 2 teams in the same tournament at the same time.. baffles me.. haha.. it would be good if someone explain to me.. if both the teams u support meets each other.. how do u go about cheering? LOL.. i simply cant picture it..

Oh.. FYI.. i'm a Sweden Fan =)

that aside.. while i was reading the bible just.. i was kinda reminded on how gracious and incredible God is..

being called to be God's children is a great feeling and experience.. but one thing is that.. when He calls u to carry out a mission/work that He has plan for you.. He doesnt change who you are or what you were; no new abilities and strength.. instead God will take who you are and mold your characteristics until they are suited for His purposes =)

God is just taking what He has created in the first place, which is good, and use it for His intended purpose.. so next time.. when u talk to Him, dont ask, "what should i change into?" but "How can i use my own capabilities and strengths to do Your will?"
