great.. it is more than a year ago since i last wrote something... somehow in the mist of studying i have the urge to visit my own blog. It is quite inspiring to know that i manage to write stuffs previously. I guess it is probably the my God puts thoughts and ideas in your to share with the people around you.
Life in University has been easy.. it's definitely not made easier by the fact that I entered uni directly into 2nd year. It is probably made worse by the fact that i haven been studying the past 2 years which i spent serving the nation. 12 weeks have gone by and 1 + 2 exam weeks left. God has been good to me thus far. Seeing me thru this horrid time, struggling to understand lectures and notes, keeping up with tutorials etc.. I'm just grateful to Him that i'm still surviving.. hahaha...
i ask myself at times... Why does it seems as if God always wants glory and honor to be shower upon Him?
As i pondering, it dawned on me that God doesn't need us to give Him glory and honor.. His creation alone makes that statement. The mountains, valleys, the big ocean, the sun... everything that He has creature signifies God's magnificent splendor and marvelous glory. To me, why we praise God and exalt Him... it is not only cause He has done all these incredible things but it is the fact that He loves us so much.. He loves us enough to have His only Son, as heavenly as Him, as glorious as Him, as part of a creator as He is, to come down to earth as an atonement for our sin.
It is our sin that leads to this gap between us and God, it is sin that cause us to have no direct contact/communication with God The Father. and because God so love us, He wants reconciliation for us.
If you ask me, what is most awesome deed that Jesus has done for me... for me, it's not the way He walks besides me all the way, it's definately comforting but not the most awesome. but it is the time He was in Gethsemane where He prayed. Even when He was asking God to take the cup away, the concerning for His disciples and those who come after them didnt ever once linger away from His thoughts. A man.. knowing that death row was to come yet He did not cease to care for other. How Great is God's Love For Us!
